For use on DE filter elements and spa and pool cartridges. Removes body oils, scale, minerals and other debris.
Directions: Remove cartridge or D.E. element from filter housing. Hose off any loose debris on the element. Thoroughly wet filter element with water. Spray FC-5 liberally over surface area of filter element. Let set for 3 - 7 minutes. Thoroughly rinse the element with water(improper rinsing may cause foaming in pool or spa). Heavily soiled filter elements may need a second application.
